Dr. Hall, Nikki, Carley and Olivia trimmed nails at the Burlington Humane Society. We saw lots of familiar faces, both cat and dog alike, and made some new friends as well! Carley also trimmed the nails of all the cats and kittens waiting for their forever homes. It was a productive day!
Fun was had by everyone on October 4 at our Bath Day and we raised $652 today for the The Farley Foundation!! It was a fun-filled day of wet dogs, laughs and amazing people. We would like to thank our clients and their wonderful dogs as well as all of our staff. We hope to have a similar event in the spring so keep your eyes on Facebook page and website.
In May, many of our staff attended the Arfmazing Race in support of the Burlington Humane Society. Headon Forest Animal Hospital had a booth at the event and attendees had a chance to win a cat or dog basket and Blue Jays tickets. It was a beautiful day for the event and we recognized many of our doggie patients and got to meet lots of new dogs also. This is a fun event and we always like to support the Burlington Humane Society as they help lots of dogs and cats in the Burlington area.
In addition to providing high quality veterinary care, we also have a passion for giving back to our community. We participate in many fundraising efforts for Burlington Humane Society and Farley Foundation and make regular contributions to OVC’s Pet Trust Fund. Our practice has sponsored various sports teams throughout the years including Kilbride Soccer, Halton Minor Ball Hockey Association and Flamborough Girls Hockey Association. We also sponsor local schools through donations of gift baskets for fundraising events. We participate in a co-op program with 3 local high schools where students spend time at the clinic and can earn a high school credit.
