What to Expect

Veterinary services in Burlington – delivered with courtesy and respect!

As a new client of our practice, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs.  Our mission is to understand and exceed the expectations of our clients and to provide exceptional treatment of each pet.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly and courteous client care advocates. Your pet will be weighed and if allowed, offered a cookie, and then you will be guided to one of our examination rooms. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

You will normally see an exam room or veterinary technician first who will take a history, and gather some data for the doctor.  A veterinarian will see you next, examine your pet, answer your questions and plan further diagnostics or treatment as necessary.  You will normally see the technician again to answer any routine wellness and care questions or explain any medications or diets that may have been prescribed. Our client care advocates will handle billing and schedule any needed follow up.

We are closed Wednesdays from Noon to 1:30pm for staff training. We are also closed for Statutory Holidays. After hour emergencies are referred to Burlington Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital (905) 637-8111 or Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Clinic (905) 829-9444
