Microchipping Tools

Microchip Pet Identification

By |

Microchipping is a permanent pet identification system that is safe, simple and effective and is designed to quickly identify lost pets and reunite them with their owners. Microchips are a proven way to successfully recover your pet if he or she should become lost. A microchip is a very small transponder that contains a unique ID code. It requires no battery and remains active for the entire length of the pet’s life. Microchips are safe for dogs and cats of all breeds and ages. It is safe for puppies and kittens, as well as older pets who may wander away from home. The microchip is placed under the skin by a simple injection by a veterinarian or technician. Once your pet has a microchip, your pet will be enrolled in a national animal recovery database so that you can be notified if your pet is recovered from being lost or stolen. You can easily updated the information in the database if you move or change phone numbers. Thousands of veterinarians, animal clinics and shelters use a hand-held scanner to scan lost pets.

Boarding

By |

If you are travelling and want to provide your feline friend with a comfortable and safe environment to stay, we offer boarding for our clients.  We will feed any specialized diets that may be required as well as administer any medications needed. All cats are boarded in the cats only ward. We encourage our boarding visitors to bring their own beds or blankets to help them feel at home.

All cats coming to the hospital for boarding must be up to date on their vaccines and have current flea control.

You will have the added benefit of knowing that if your animal experiences any illness while you’re away, it will be promptly and competently addressed by one of our clinicians.

For a tour of our boarding facilities, please feel free to drop by anytime or call to set up a time. Please contact us to book your boarding requests.

Unfortunately we do not have the proper facilities for boarding dogs.
