Kyla has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2016. She has a special interest in rehabilitation, and is currently in the Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist (CCAT) program through NC State University. She is an Elite Fear Free Certified Professional and a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional, and takes pride in keeping visits low-stress for all the patients she sees - big or small! She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Veterinary Cannabinoid Medicine, and has her certification as a Veterinary Cannabis Counsellor (VCC).
When she isn't at the hospital, you'll either find her reading horror novels, playing video games, or spending time with her partner and their 3 cats (Icarus, Boba, and Navi!).
